Abstract
My hope is that the reader will view this thesis, not
as a historical statement, but as a personal simplification
and a clarification of the position in which I find myself
as an artist and as an approach to creative expression. I
wish also to mention that as an artist I do not regard myself
as either an existentialist or a philosopher in the
strictest sense of the words.
