Description
Exterior of Kansas Theatre at 221 East Douglas Avenue. The entrance to the theater replicates the ticket booth to a horse-racing track to advertise the feature film "Kentucky Derby." Signs proclaim "Races 11 to 11" and "Place All Bets Here." The black and white silent film opened in 1922.
