Abstract
With yearly funding topping $50 million, research at Wichita State University ranges from bioscience, chemistry and engineering to mathematics, physics and ancient civilization. WSU ranks third among all U.S. universities in aeronautical R&D expenditures and first in industry funding for aeronautical R&D. In addition to excellent research within academic departments, WSU is home to more than 30 research centers and institutes, many of which work closely with local, regional and national entities to accelerate discovery and innovation and bring new products to the market place.
