Description
Dan Glickman Scrapbook 5 contains material from Glickman’s seventh and eighth terms as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Kansas’s 4th district in the 101st to 102nd Congresses. The selections include campaign publicity; material about the T-1A Jayhawk First Aircraft Delivery program; invitations and programs from the International Sweetener, the Wichita Area Chamber of Commerce, Wichita High School Southeast, Wichita State University, the Wichita Airport Authority, and the American Jewish Committee (Washington Chapter and Kansas City Chapter). There are numerous publications, which include articles from Wichita State University, Glickman’s ‘‘Reports to the Fourth,’’ and ‘‘News from Dan Glickman.’’ These scrapbook selections also contain correspondence. The correspondence selections include: an April 14, 1989 letter to Gladys and Milton Glickman from Dan Glickman and a February 25, 1991 letter to Gladys Glickman from Dan Glickman. This scrapbook was compiled by Gladys Glickman, mother of Dan Glickman. Selections are from Dan Glickman Scrapbook 5, pages 5, 7, 14, 35, 36, 37, 41, 47, 53, 58, 72, 77, 82, 88, 98.
