Description
Special orders of the 139th Infantry Adjustment of the American Expeditionary Forces, expresses the Regimental Commander's appreciation of the Battalion Commander, his officers and non-commissioned officers, and men of the third battalion for being the ''best drilled battalion in the Division.'' For this, they earned the title of the ''best Battalion of the 35th Division.'' Included are the names of each of the members of the companies.
