Abstract
The title compound, C14H10N6O2·H2O, has inherent hydrogen-bonding sites that allow for a very tight packing structure. There are two organic mol-ecules and two water mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit, which are connected by N - H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The O atoms come from both water and urea, giving rise to a complex three-dimensional mol-ecular cluster. Features associated with the hydrogen bonding and solid-state emission and excitation spectra are discussed in the supplementary material. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
