Abstract
The object of this thesis is to derive analytically the general equations of motion for a hydraulic-driven four-bar mechanism as shown in Figure I. After the derivation of the actual equations, the equations will be perturbated and small angle approximations will be used to simplify the nonlinear equations of motion. The simplified equations will reduce the computer simulation required to solve the problem.
