Description

1 negative, 2 images - portraits of a man in a military uniform, most likely WWII. He has a two stripe patch on each of his arms with a another patch above it; the resolution of the image makes the second patch too difficult to make out. He has a few medals on his left breast, and one more patch on his right breast.
Original envelope reads "6/30-1946", "E. R. Rather", "cut", "827-East 8th", "6[circled] 3/4", "Phone 51-m.", "3.00 pd", and "T. P."
Negative - 6.8125" x 4.8125"; Envelope - 5.5" x 7.5"
Archival master image scanned as 48-bit RGB color TIFF. Display image is 8-bit 150 dpi JPG, quality rating 8, generated from uncompressed archival TIFF using Adobe Photoshop.
