Digital copy of Side A of audio cassette made from 7" audio sound recording tape recorded in July 1961. University of Wichita students Kathryn Woody, Ida May Query and Nella Wolf recorded songs performed by relatives and friends. Side A contains 13 songs by 7 performers: The Tragic Romance, The Wreck of Old 97, Drink To Me, Blue Eyed Darling sung by Carl Smith; Cowboy Jack sung by Ruby Odell; Letter Edged in Black sung by Maxine Runyon; Silver Threads Among the Gold sung by Bill Mills; You Are My Sunshine, Heartaches by the Number sung by Ray Odell and Bob Mumbower; and There's a Mother Old and Gray, Jack and Joe, Two Little Girls in Blue, When the Leaves Come Drifting sung by Mable Woody.
