Abstract
This contractor report by Dr. James E. Tomayko, available via the NASA Technical Reports Server (NTRS), examines computer systems in U.S. spaceflight, including the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, and Space Shuttle programs. The work is fundamentally based on a series of oral history interviews conducted in 1983 and 1984 with key NASA engineers, astronauts, and managers, documenting the history of computers in spaceflight.
