Abstract
Of all the instruments devised for microscopic
examinations, the light microscope remains the most
universally used. Its use, however, always is limited
by a number of factors, with the result that the specimen
seldom is observed as it would appear in the natural
state. Due to these limitations, it would appear worthwhile
to use every means available to aid in making
microscopic structures more completely understood (9).
