Item Bhakti, Buddhism and the Bhagavad-Gita(Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honors Society at Wichita State University, 1977) Reed, RobIn this paper, author outlines one possible influence in the development of the doctrine of Bhakti-Marga (a devotional type of worship in Hinduism) as presented in the Bhagavad-Gita (a Hindu philosophical text). This possible influence in the development of Bhakti-Marga is that of Brahmanic reaction to Buddhism. Of course, Buddhism is not the only reason for Bhakti-Marga's development, but author believes that the Gita only formalized Bhakti-Marga, making it acceptable for the social elite and the rising middle class of India.Item Lambda Alpha Journal of Man, v.8, no.2 (complete version)(Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honors Society at Wichita State University, 1977) Lambda Alpha National Collegiate Honors Society for AnthropologyThis volume consists of five articles: Switzerland: an example of working multi-lingualism by Diane L. There was no laboratory investigation conducted; only a survey of the literature was done. This survey of the literature shows that many similarities exist between arthritis and periodontal disease. A gradual body of deterioration accompanying these conditions seems to affect one's resistance to infection which is a key step in the process of deterioration. It appears that neither arthritis nor periodontal disease causes the other, but evidence of the previous investigations leads to the conclusion that a common condition or link exists between the two~Item Paleodemography in the Southwest(Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honors Society at Wichita State University, 1977) Glover, Gerold F.
