Wichita State is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC-NCA). The University’s last review was during the 2016-17 academic year and is scheduled to be reviewed again in 2026-27.

Wichita State University participates in a model of accreditation called Open Pathway, which seeks to offer greater value to institutions and greater credibility to the public in its quality assurance.

The documents included to this collection provide the outcomes of the 2016-17 review: Wichita State University Assurance Argument report, the HLC Visiting Team final report and the Higher Learning Commission action letter.
