dc.description.abstract	An index to "The Sunflower", Wichita State University's student newspaper (1896 - 1992) was published in conjunction with the University's centennial (1895-1995). In most cases, index entries are added only at inception, special events, recognition, or discontinuation of activities or organizations. Faculty members are mentioned upon recognition for honors, publications and important speeches. A complete set of The Sunflower is available on microfilm in the Reserve department of Ablah Library. The actual newspapers are held in the Department of Special Collections and University Archives.	en_US
