dc.description Presented at the ER&L 2011 Conference on February 28. I share my experience in creating a mobile database site at Wichita State University, covering the evolutionary process from the beginning to where we are today along with discussing plans for the future. Some statistical information on mobile devices and their usage will be given. I will discuss where to find information about mobile databases and provide examples of other Libraries’ mobile database pages, giving the pros and cons of each design. en_US
dc.description.abstract Mobile access to databases is becoming increasingly available. As Smartphones increase in popularity, more of your customers will be able to access databases from outside the confines of a computer. Even if your library does not yet have a mobile library site, you can create a mobile database site. en_US
