The WSU College of Health Professions (CHP) is a two-time winner of the Kansas Award for Excellence Commitment to Quality Award and received the 2007 Organization Award of Honor from Kansas Health Ethics. These recognitions are a direct result of CHP living its vision of innovation and excellence in education to promote a healthy society as well as living its mission of partnering with the community. CHP, a college with an approximately $7 million annual budget and an additional several million dollars in special budgets, is composed of approximately sixteen hundred (1600) students attending almost two-dozen programs organized into seven (7) academic departments, two (2) clinical facilities and a postdoctoral clinical residency program. .
