Abstract: This video, filmed during the summer of 2007 by graduate student Troy Belford and L. D. Holmes Museum of Anthropology director Jerry Martin, shows the carving and painting of a Korowai shield. The Korowai live in the remote jungles of Southwestern Papua, Indonesia (the Western side of New Guinea Island).
